How to hack WiFi password

    How to hack WiFi password

I hope you have a good reason to know this network password, so here's how to do it.

How to hack WiFi password

Maybe you have a Wi-Fi connection at home, or you stand next to one (or more) on your list every time you turn on your laptop or look at your phone.
The problem is that if there is a padlock next to the network name (aka SSID or Service Set ID), it means security is enabled. Without a password or passphrase, you cannot access this network or the sweet, sweet Internet that comes with it.

 WiFi Signal

i hope  you forgot your network password, or maybe you don't have a neighbor to share your Wi-Fi goodness with. Just go to a cafe, buy a latte, and use the free WIFI . Download an app like WiFi Map (opens in a new window) (iOS (opens in a new window) or Android (opens in a new window)) on your smartphone and you'll see a list of millions of points of access. Free Wi-Fi in the cell, including passwords for locked Wi-Fi connections if shared by any of the app users.
However, there are other ways to switch back to wireless. Some people need patience so much that the idea of coffee seems so good. If you can't wait, read on.

Windows command to get the key

This trick only works to reset your Wi-Fi password (AKA network security key) if you forgot the password you used earlier.
It works because Windows creates a profile for each Wi-Fi network you connect to. If you tell Windows to forget the network, it will also forget the password. In this case it doesn't work. But few do it openly.
This requires Windows command line access with administrative privileges. Click on the star menu and type "cmd" (without quotes) to bring up the command prompt. Right-click on this entry and select Run as administrator. This will open a black box full of text with a prompt inside. Lines with a right arrow at the end, such as C:\WINDOWS\system\>. A blinking cursor indicates where you are typing.

Start here

The results will display a section titled User Profile. These are all the Wi-Fi networks (VLAN or Wireless LAN) you have accessed and saved. Select the password you want to download, highlight it and copy it. At the prompt below, type: However, replace the X with the copied network name. Quotes are only required if the network name contains spaces, such as "Cup o Jo Cafe". reset the router.

                      Before WiFi

It doesn't work on someone else's Wi-Fi in the apartment next door. This requires physical access to your router. But before completely resetting the router and accessing a private Wi-Fi network, try connecting to the router first. From here, if you forget your Wi-Fi password/key, you can easily recover it.
This is not possible if you do not know your router password. (Wi-Fi passwords and router passwords are not the same unless you try to assign the same password to both). Resetting the router only works if you're accessing it over WiFi (I know it doesn't have WiFi) or if you're physically using an Ethernet cable.

                            Internet Service Provider

If you are using a router provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), check the label on the device before resetting. Your ISP can print your SSID and network security key directly on your hardware.
show profile name net-sh vlan="XXXXXXXXXXXX" key=delete
In the new data that appears, verify the security settings in the main content row. The specified word is a Wi-Fi password or key that you do not have. (If you don't like the command line, you can use third-party password recovery software like Cain & Abel (opens in a new window) or Wireless (opens in a new window) to do likewise.)
On mac OS, open Spotlight search (Cmd+Space) and type "Terminal" to get the Mac equivalent of the command line. Enter the following, replacing the X with your network name:
security find-generic-password -va XXXXXXX
